SPEED TRAINING - LINEAR SPEED AND LATERAL SPEED
Linear speed and lateral speed are both methods of speed training. Linear speed is simply defined as the distance travelled divided by the time that it takes to travel to the place. In mathematical terms, distance is equal to speed multiplied by time. Lateral speed training is whereby one runs side to side, instead of moving straight ahead.
